We are recruiting an experienced, creative production manager to join our team as we develop ‘Never Mind the Weather’, a new show for young audiences.
The role of the production manager will span a number of areas, including but not limited to:
Co-ordinator: for rehearsals, meetings & performances (eg. scheduling rehearsals, liaising with performance venues).
Record-keeper: financial, contractual, and welfare-related (eg. managing invoices & contracts, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date).
Marketing & publicity manager: Liaising with partners & venues to promote the performance (eg. planning photoshoots, sending promotional material).
The ideal person will have:
Minimum 2 years (full or part-time) experience in production, arts management and/or administration.
A qualification in Arts Administration, Project Management, Theatre, Dance, or a field related to one or more of these.
Enthusiasm & a passion for the arts and performance.
The production manager will work closely with the director for the duration of the project. Responsibilities will begin mid-March, in preparation for an August rehearsal period and September/October performances. There will be a flat fee of 3,000.00 for 4 weeks flexi-time.
